Withybush Hospital Leaked Report

Carmarthen West & South Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Angela Burns has raised questions in the Assembly asking for the Health Minister to publish a statement in regard to the leaked report that suggests Withybush Hospital should lose 24 hour A & E, ENT, Opthalmology, Urology, Palliative Care, Oncology, Paediatrics and Gynaecology with no provision for Major Trauma services and other specialist services therefore leaving the door open for even further cuts.

Free school breakfasts must be fair

Speaking ahead of the 10 year anniversary of the Welsh Labour government’s free school breakfast policy, Angela Burns AM, Shadow Minister for Education, said: “It is regrettable that after 10 years and tens of millions of pounds, a third of Welsh children are not able to access free school breakfasts.

Coffee & Cake at Macmillan !

On Saturday 27th September in Begelly, Kilgetty - Macmillan volunteers hosted a coffee morning to raise funds for Cancer Support. Cakes, teas and coffee, chutneys, toys, antiques – you name it, were on sale to raise funds for this extremely worthy cause and throughout the morning there were a steady stream of visitors dropping by to lend support.
