Local Assembly Member visits Wave Power Project

Welsh Government urged to fund sight saving operations

Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Angela Burns has called on the Welsh Government’s Health Minister to fund sight saving Corneal Cross-Linking operations on the NHS following a case raised by local teenager Ryan Morgan.

Commenting on reports of severe pressures being experienced at Withybush Hospital Shadow Health Minster and Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Angela Burns said;

AM calls for new brain tumour treatment to be used in Wales.

Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Angela Burns used a question to the Cabinet Secretary for Health this week to call for 5-AminoLevulinic Acid, more commonly referred to as 5-ALA or Pink Drink, to be used by surgeons treating Brain Tumours in South Wales.
