Local Assembly Member Angela Burns welcomed Mayor and Mayoress of Pembroke Cllr Dennis Evans and his wife Rita to the Assembly earlier this week.
After giving them a tour of the building and discussing issues affecting the town, Cllr and Mrs Evans were able to see Angela ask questions to the First Minister in the Chamber.
Commenting Angela said “One of my favourite parts of the job is to welcome constituents to the Assembly. It is important people can see where laws are made that effect their everyday lives. Dennis has done a great job in promoting and speaking up for Pembroke in his role as mayor over the last ten months and it was great to welcome him and his wife here to the Assembly.
Dennis added “I am grateful to Angela for giving up her time to meet with us today. We have had an extremely interesting visit and enjoyed being able to spend some time watching the debate”.
If any constituents wish to visit the Welsh Assembly please contact Angela’s office on 0300 200 7243.
